How It Works

Every project starts with a free site survey where we walk your property and identify vulnerable areas, entry points, blind spots, and lighting conditions. We assess existing cabling and network infrastructure to determine what can be reused. From there, we create a camera placement plan with specific models selected for each location and a detailed proposal with clear pricing.

Our technicians handle all mounting, cabling, and connections, running clean cable paths through walls, ceilings, and conduit. Cameras are mounted at optimal heights and angles for maximum coverage. We then configure your NVR, set up motion zones, recording schedules, and storage retention, and lock down network security to protect your system.

Before we leave, we set up remote viewing on your phone and computer, walk you through the app, and show you how to review footage, export clips, and manage alerts. After go-live, we provide warranty coverage, firmware updates, camera cleaning, and re-aiming as needed, with maintenance plans available for annual inspections and proactive hard drive replacement.

Recording & Infrastructure

We install NVR systems ranging from 4 to 128 channels with RAID storage for redundancy, 30 to 90+ days of retention, and hot-swappable hard drives for zero-downtime maintenance. All cabling is structured with Cat6/Cat6A runs, PoE switches, and fiber optic for long distances, with weatherproof junction boxes at every outdoor connection point.

Every system includes remote access through mobile apps (iOS and Android) and web browser, with push notifications for motion alerts. We also configure cloud backup options for critical footage, so recordings are protected even if on-site equipment is damaged or stolen.

Applications

We design camera systems for residential properties (entry points, driveways, backyards, package delivery areas), retail and restaurants (sales floors, stockrooms, cash registers, POS integration, AI analytics for loitering and unusual activity), and warehouses and industrial facilities (loading docks, storage aisles, perimeters, license plate recognition, ruggedized cameras for dust and extreme temperatures).

Our systems also cover parking structures with wide-angle and PTZ cameras, LPR at entry and exit, and integration with access control and barrier gates. We deploy construction site cameras with solar-powered and cellular options for locations without power, and serve multi-tenant and HOA properties with centralized monitoring across common areas, pools, lobbies, gates, and parking.

Frequently Asked Questions

A basic residential system with 4 to 8 cameras, an NVR, and professional installation typically costs $2,000 to $5,000. Commercial systems with higher-resolution cameras, more coverage points, analytics, and remote access can range from $5,000 to $30,000 or more depending on property size. We provide free site surveys and custom quotes.

IP cameras transmit video over your network and offer higher resolution (up to 4K), remote access, and advanced features like AI analytics. Analog CCTV cameras are older technology with lower resolution but can be more affordable for basic coverage. We recommend IP systems for most new installations due to their superior image quality and flexibility.

Yes. All modern IP camera systems we install include remote viewing through a smartphone app. You can view live feeds, review recorded footage, receive motion alerts, and manage settings from anywhere with an internet connection. We configure remote access as part of every installation.

The number of cameras depends on your property size, layout, and coverage goals. A typical residential home needs 4 to 8 cameras to cover entry points and key areas. A small commercial property may need 8 to 16 cameras. Large facilities like warehouses or parking lots can require 32 or more. We conduct a free site survey to design a system with no blind spots.

Storage duration depends on the number of cameras, resolution, and hard drive capacity. Most systems we install retain 30 to 90 days of continuous recording. Motion-based recording can extend storage significantly. We size your NVR and hard drives based on your retention requirements and can add cloud backup for critical footage.

Yes. All cameras we install include infrared (IR) night vision for clear black-and-white footage in complete darkness. Select models feature ColorVu technology that delivers full-color night footage using advanced sensors and supplemental lighting. We recommend camera models based on the lighting conditions at each mounting location.

The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) prohibits the use of certain camera brands (Hikvision and Dahua) in federal government facilities and federally funded projects. If you're a government contractor, school district receiving federal funds, or working on public infrastructure, you need NDAA-compliant cameras. We install compliant brands like Axis, Hanwha, and Avigilon and can advise on whether your project requires compliance.

California is a two-party consent state, meaning all parties must consent to audio recording. Video recording without audio is generally legal on your own property and in public-facing areas. If you want audio recording, you must post clear signage notifying people that audio is being captured. We configure audio on or off per camera based on your requirements and help ensure proper signage is in place.

Yes. We regularly upgrade older analog CCTV systems to modern IP platforms. In many cases, existing cabling can be reused with PoE adapters, reducing installation costs. We assess your current infrastructure and recommend the most cost-effective upgrade path to get you better resolution, remote access, and expanded coverage.
